The Malvern Valley Shopping strip gains a host of footpath improvements, public artworks, street furniture and landscaping to create a more pleasant environment.
A new pavilion for Lord Reserve and an upgrade to the Koornang Park Pavilion will provide resident sports clubs with accessible, female-friendly change rooms and a range of improved public facilities and storage spaces.
The shopping strip at this intersection received a lift with footpath and street furniture upgrades and the creation of a parklet for residents to linger and enjoy.
Replacing the ageing pavilion at Murrumbeena Park with a new modern sport and community hub complete with meeting and function rooms will be a boost for local social and sports organisations.
The new aquatic and leisure centre will offer the community sport, recreation and wellness activities and services. It will include two new indoor courts, a fitness centre and aquatic facilities.

- creating local employment hubs, encouraging startups and place-based economic development
- open spaces to foster community connections.
