Replacing the ageing pavilion at Murrumbeena Park with a new modern sport and community hub complete with meeting and function rooms will be a boost for local social and sports organisations.

The shopping strip at this intersection received a lift with footpath and street furniture upgrades and the creation of a parklet for residents to linger and enjoy.

  • creating local employment hubs, encouraging startups and place-based economic development
  • open spaces to foster community connections.
