Home to one of the world’s leading grain-growing areas, the Wimmera Southern Mallee in central-western Victoria has many small vibrant communities served by the major regional centres of Horsham and Stawell.

Popular natural attractions include the Grampians National Park, deserts, wetlands and lakes.

Agriculture is a major industry for the region, followed by healthcare and manufacturing, with the tourism sector growing in importance.
